Pitch black gives way to bright spots the colour of hellfire, and a man collapses, never to see daylight again.

The hellfire turns into pastel blue nebulas, and the panic in a dwarf’s eyes soothes, a hopeful smile on his face.

Then the blue nebulas swirl around, twist, and suddenly they’re a deep purple, like smoke on the water, and a shapeshifter freezes in his motion, his claws just an inch from the Tiefling’s jugular.

But as the Tiefling makes quick work of the shifter and turns around with a thankful grin, the purple finally dissolves and reveals a warm pink underneath.

Kira just hopes the Tiefling won’t notice how warm that pink really is.
